Ronald W. Schauland, M.A., CRNA, APNP

I graduated from Northern Michigan University with a BSN in Nursing and a Masters in Education. I specialized in Nurse Anesthesia and graduated from The Mayo Clinic School of Health Related Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in 1977.

I have provided anesthesia in a variety of work settings including multi-specialty Hospitals, Surgical Centers, and physician owned outpatient surgery/office settings. I am licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. I am also licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) in Wisconsin.

Currently, I am a member of CRNA Associates, which is a group of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's), which contract with various outpatient facilities and physicians offices in Northeast Wisconsin. We provide general and regional anesthesia services for orthopedic, general, plastic and cosmetic as well as ophthalmic specialties.

I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS).

I am an active practicing member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA, www.aana.com) since 1977. I am also a member of the Wisconsin Association of Nurse Anesthetists (WIANA, www.wiana.com) and have served as its President and also as a member of the Board of Directors.
